The Adult Day Program works towards empowering individuals with special needs, as well as helping your loved ones to realize and reach their full potentials. Our staff recognizes each person as an individual with varying interests, skills, and aptitudes. We provide options throughout the day related to individual interests and desires in life in order for participants to exercise control over the direction of their lives. Program specialists develop an individualized program for each participant with input from the adult participant, family or care giver, advocates, other staff members and the individual’s Delaware County Service Coordinator. Plans are monitored quarterly and reviewed at least annually.
Specialized services: An occupational and a physical therapist are available to perform yearly evaluations, consultations, and to provide staff trainings. In addition, they are available to service adaptive equipment needs as they arise. A registered nurse is also on staff to meet the needs of our senior participants as well as those individuals who are medically fragile.
Community Integration: It is our desire to open up avenues for persons to belong to their communities. Individuals are provided with the opportunity to participate in a variety of community activities.
A free and reduced lunch program is available for eligible participants September through June.
Transportation may be arranged through paratransit services.
